Solid trip for the McCausland group down from Pottsville in a beautiful fall day. A couple of 1st time tuna fisherman in the crew who were immediately welcomed to the club with a triple header in the first five minutes of the trip. It was lights out fishing for the first hour, landing five and losing at least as many. Once the chaos was over, we weren’t able to buy a bite for the rest of the day. Boat traffic was heavy which made the fish skiddish and the bite died. Back out in a few days.

It has been a great season Offshore Fishing From Beach Haven.. Solid trip for the Murray group. Plenty of action as the guys boated 6 nice size yellowfin, a pile of mahi and missed a white marlin who was window shopping through the spread. Great to see young Teague Walker from Arizona land his fish tuna. This is a new larger class size of yellowfins that have moved into the area. It was National Georaphic out there at times with huge feeds of whales and dolphins mixed in with the tuna. Looks like we’ll have to wait until after the NE blow that is expected this weekend before we can get out again.
